All courses conducted in Dutch start at two different times a year at Tio University of Applied Sciences: in September or in January. The English variant is only offered at Tio’s Utrecht location starting in September.
If you start in September, then your work experience will take place at the end of the academic year, so after you have completed the second semester. Some of your lessons will be together with the students who started in January.
If you start in January, then the majority of your lessons will be together with the students who started in September. This is possible because the semesters within an academic year can be followed independently. Your work experience will take place halfway through the academic year. You can make use of the practical experience you have gained during your work experience in the theory lessons in the second semester. This will allow you to put matters into context more easily and will ‘liven up’ the lessons too.
