Student satisfaction at Tio Business School continues to rise. The results of the 2026 National Student Survey (NSS) show that Tio scores above the national benchmark—the national average—in all areas surveyed. Students particularly appreciate the subject expertise of lecturers, the link to professional practice and the way in which the programmes respond to current developments.

Students are positive about the content of the programmes, the academic support and the way in which theory and practice are linked. They also say they feel at home at Tio and are inspired by what they learn.
Lecturers score highly
Student satisfaction has risen again this year across several areas. In particular, scores for lecturers, academic support and the content of the programmes have shown an increase. Students indicate that lecturers are knowledgeable and link the course material effectively to professional practice.
Programmes strong in content
Students are also positive about the structure of the programmes. The alignment of the programme with professional practice, the link to current developments, the teaching methods used and the coherence between different components within the programme are highly valued.
In addition, students feel at home in the programme they are studying. They say they are inspired by what they learn and feel safe to be themselves within Tio’s educational environment.

The annual National Student Survey (NSS) is the largest national satisfaction survey in higher education. Over 248,000 students from universities of applied sciences and research universities shared their views on their programmes and educational institutions. For Tio, the NSS is an important indicator for further improving the quality of education.
