Hotel Winterbries has won the Hotel and Event Week. The Hotel and Event Week is a week-long project during which the students of the Hotel and Event Management bachelor from all Tio locations run a hotel on their own. Tio congratulates all students who worked in hotel Winterbries.
During the Hotel and Event Week it is up to the students themselves to determine what the hotel’s theme will be, which events they will organise, and what food and drinks they want to serve to guests. All hotels are visited by several mystery guests who rate the accommodation and the students’ services. Based on these assessments, an ultimate winner is selected.
This year, the mystery guests were thrilled about the amazing hospitality, the decoration and design, and the dishes served at Hotel Winterbries. “All students were exceptionally hospitable. Everyone was working hard to make guests’stay as comfortable as possible, and the hotel’s design was perfect. Furthermore, the students were very accommodating when they received special requests, such as dietary requests,” said one of the mystery guests.
Eventually, the hotel earned a wonderful rating of 8.7, making it the winner of this year’s edition of the Hotel and Event Week!
