The core curriculum forms the basis of this master’s programme. As a budding manager, you will learn all about good and inclusive HRM policies and learn how to streamline organisational processes as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will also dive into the financial documents of an organisation and develop your strategic skills through a simulation game, among other teaching methods. You will be taught modules on:

During this programme you write an essay about your choice for the MBA, your specialisation and any topics you want to research. After all, your research will be most valuable if you choose a topic that genuinely fascinates you. You also outline your goals for when you finish your degree.

You begin this programme with a Research Week. Here you will learn the research skills and other abilities you need to graduate: delve into the world of theoretical frameworks, research methods, data collection and data analysis. Then it's time to start working on your exciting and high-quality research project!

Your thesis research project is an essential part of your road to success and the crowning glory of your MBA degree programme. This is your opportunity to show what you have learned, display your skills and explore the direction of your future career.
You will conduct research on a socially relevant development and give advice on a topic that affects the industry close to your heart. You choose the issue that suits your personality, ambitions and interests. Graduation project
You can choose to complete your thesis research within your chosen specialisation. But you can also use this project to explore another specialisation area.

All MBA student works on their research in the same way: in small graduation circles, you take part in peer review and give feedback on each other’s work. You also learn how to define the scope of your research question, so that you actually measure only what you want to measure. Finally, based on your findings, you will formulate a recommendation.

The choice is yours
Because every MBA student decides which question they wish to answer in their research and because everyone chooses their own specialisation, the variation within the graduation thesis research is enormous.

Earlier MBA students at Tio have provided consultation services for middle management in the luxury sector, addressed bullying at work and conducted finance research on how banks can influence the investment behaviour of youth. Students have also focused on the usefulness of digitisation of medical care, the challenges of online meetings and psychological security, inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
