For the twelfth year running Tio's study programmes have received the highest ratings in the Higher Education Guide 2023. This guide offers independent advice and compares over 1,100 Dutch study programmes. Several Tio study programmes are voted number 1 in the latest Higher Education Guide, and just like last year Tio, as a private institution, has been awarded the quality mark 'excellence in this field'. Moreover, Tio is voted the best university of applied sciences in the Netherlands that offers more than three study programmes.
At Tio, students come first
Tio is the place where young talent is encouraged to bring out the best in themselves: at Tio, we develop our students' potential by offering personal, excellent and entrepreneurial education in the fields of business, hospitality, marketing and tourism. The study programmes Commerce Economics and Entrepreneurship, Hotel and Event Management, International Tourism Management, and International Business Management are rated best in the 2023 Higher Education Guide.
Quality mark 'excellent'
According to the Guide, Tio students are highly satisfied with their education and often perform above average. In recognition of this Tio has been awarded the quality mark 'excellence in this field'. Former student Kelly Kooij expresses her Tio experience as follows: "The broad range of subjects offered at Tio provided me with an excellent basis to prepare me for my career. Many new doors opened for me: it can lead you anywhere."
