End of August Utrecht had the pleasure of receiving the exchange students from Tio Amsterdam & Utrecht.
The day started with lots of useful information on the University itself. Moving on to more fun activities: boats. Of course, we wanted to show the best we have to offer, which always involves water in the Netherlands! Just before boarding there was an inspiring welcome speech by Mr Duthler followed by a tour on the canals and yes yes... Dutch fries with mayonnaise and plenty of 'bitterballen and kaassouflés'!
Safe to say the students had their first taste of the Netherlands and we hope they will have a fab time here. Do say hi when you meet a student from abroad, because who knows, in a few semesters that could be you!
