Tio uses photography and video. We use these images to recruit or inform different target groups. In its image use, Tio complies with the European GDPR and privacy legislation.

1. Form
1.1. Portrait photography and videography
- Portraits are photos or videos that show one identifiable person.
- For a portrait, you must always consent via a form where you fill in your personal information and agree to the use of the photos and/or videos.
- If you consent, Tio may use the portrait internally and externally for recruitment purposes or to inform various target groups.
- If you consent, Tio may use your photos and/or video(s) in online and offline applications for five years, with the exception of the Tio website. Publication on the website is subject to an unlimited publication period. For any other publications, photos and/or videos are automatically deleted from our database after five years.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time. Tio will then no longer use your photos or videos as of that date. We do not withdraw or republish printed publications if you have withdrawn your consent.
1.2 Multiple identifiable persons (group photo and video)
- An image with multiple identifiable persons refers to photos and videos that show more than one person and up to seven people simultaneously. We often capture these images at events.
- For visual material with multiple identifiable individuals, Tio must inform the target groups prior to the event that someone will be taking photos or videos. This means we will send a pre-announcement by mail and/or announce our policy at the event.
- If possible, we take group photos and videos in a specific room of the event (or in a separate area of the room).
- At the entrance to the event, we will place a banner stating that when you enter the space and pose for a group photo or video, you agree to group photos and videos being taken.
- If a group photo or video is taken, we'll make sure you can take a card with a link that explains the guidelines again. It also includes an email address you can email if you want to withdraw your consent for the use of a group photo or video.
- The exception to the group photo policy is any group photo taken on a stage. If you pose for a photo or video here, you automatically consent to its use.
- The moment a photographer or videographer takes group photos or videos in another room or on a stage, he/she must ask for explicit permission. This is done via a form where you state your consent, enter your personal information and consent to its use.
- If you consent, Tio may use your photos and/or video(s) in online and offline applications for five years, with the exception of the Tio website. Publication on the website is subject to an unlimited publication period. For any other publications, photos and/or videos are automatically deleted from our database after five years.
1.3 Overview photos/video
- Overview photos and/or videos are photos or videos that show more than seven people at the same time. This image gives an impression of a day; the people are not the focus. We often capture these images at events.
- For overview photos and/or videos, Tio must inform its target audience prior to the event that someone will be taking photos or videos. This means we will send a pre-announcement by mail and/or announce our policy at the event.
- Overview photos and/or videos can be taken by Tio anywhere during an event. You automatically consent. Tio may use overview photos and/or videos featuring you for five years in on- and offline applications, with the exception of the Tio website. Publication on the website is subject to an unlimited publication period. For any other publications, photos and/or videos are automatically deleted from our database after five years.
2. Applications
Tio uses photography and videography for two purposes: to recruit new students and to inform different target group(s).

Information
- Photos and/or videos, some with text.
- Application: mainly in guides, in magazines (half-yearly edition), mail messages and on intranet.
3. Social media
- Posts by Tio students or staff on social media may be reposted by Tio on Tio's online channels without permission.
- These social media posts may also be used on other Tio channels. We never include surnames in these posts.
