  • A festival fanatic?

Do you love going to festivals and enjoy everything that comes with it? Then this festival management programme is perfect for you. The atmosphere, the experience, the line-up, the location, and how everything is organised down to the last detail – you want to know it all!

  • Experience-oriented?

Do you want to bring people together and let them escape from everyday life for a while? You are fully committed to giving people an unforgettable experience. With the Festival Management specialisation, you will learn how to organise festivals that visitors will talk about for a long time to come.

  • Internationally oriented?

Do you dream of an international career in the events industry? Festivals and events bring people from all over the world together. You are curious about how events are organised in other countries and how culture influences experiences. That is why you will spend at least one part of your studies abroad: where do you see yourself working or studying?

  • The type who works hard?

Organising festivals and events involves a lot of work: long days, working under pressure and unexpected situations. No problem for you! With your knowledge, dedication and perseverance, you can find a solution to everything. Creating something beautiful together is your number one priority.

  • A team player?

To run an event, festival or hotel successfully, you need people around you. Together, you ensure that everything is taken care of down to the last detail. And by working well together, you can continue to exceed your visitors' expectations!

  • Focused?

But you want to know what ingredients are needed to make an event successful. From concept development and target group analysis to logistics, safety and experience.

  • Driven?

Would you like to work with top artists, creative teams and sponsors? And do you dream of being part of the professional world behind major festivals and events? We will teach you how to work with different parties – from artists and technicians to sponsors and suppliers – and how to put together a strong and successful event.

  • Stress resistant?

Do you always remain calm and collected under pressure? Then you've come to the right place in the festival and event industry. During an event, anything can go wrong: an artist arrives late, the weather isn't cooperating, or there are last-minute changes. No problem with your down-to-earth attitude. It's precisely in situations like these that you are at your strongest, able to think on your feet and come up with solutions.

Festival management in practice

Building on a broad foundation in Hotel and Event Management, you will delve deeper into the international world of festivals and large events. You will learn to understand hospitality from the perspective of a festival visitor and will soon know how to organise everything down to the last detail. You will work on creative marketing and promotional campaigns to ensure that the right people find your festival. Your guests will feel like they are in a completely different world.

Become an festival organiser

From arrival to after-party, you will immerse yourself in the experience and organisation and pull out all the stops to pamper festival visitors. Festivals are much more than entertainment – they are brands in their own right. Music, good food, films, as well as art, sports or a very specific hobby can be the theme of a well-attended festival. You will learn how to develop a strong festival concept, how to set up collaborations with big names and sponsors, and how to get the right people excited. Will you be the driving force behind the biggest festivals of the future?
