Leisure is big business; from a visit to a festival to spending a nice weekend at a luxury hotel. Every year, it brings in roughly €82 million revenue in the Netherlands. More than 19 million foreign tourists visited our country in the past year and this number will increase in the years to come (source: NBTC). On top of that the Netherlands is the European country with the highest number of conventions.
