In just a few months, you’ll get your English at the required level while you immerse yourself in Dutch culture. During the Foundation Programme, you will receive guidance from our lecturers and a personal study coach who support you in your academic and personal development.

How to enrol

To join the Foundation Programme, apply for the bachelor’s or MBA programme you want to study at Tio. Right from the start of the admissions process, you can opt to add the Foundation Programme as a preparatory track.

• Admission requirements: 
  • Bachelor entry:
    • IELTS Academic: 5.0 or 5.5 points
    • TOEFL: iBT: 35-45 or 46-59 points
    • PTE Pearson points: 36-41 or 42-49 points
    • Cambridge exam or Cambridge First Certificate: 160-169 or 170-179 points
      
      
  • MBA entry: 
    • IELTS Academic: 5.5 or 6.0 points
    • TOEFL: iBT: 46-59 or 60-78 points
    • PTE Pearson points: 42-49 or 50-57 points
    • Cambridge exam or Cambridge First Certificate: 170-179 or 180-189 points

All tests must be taken at an official examination centre. Please note:

• If your score is in the lower range from the above list, the programme will last 6–12 months.
• If your score is in the higher range from the above list, the programme will last less than 6 months.
• You must also choose the program you plan to study at Tio Business School after completing this preparatory course.
