Make a plan for a digital company and / or product: with this assignment, 22 Tio teams of the bachelor programme Commerce, Entrepreneurship and Organisations were set to work during the Digital Student Company project. Eight teams presented their plans in the final on Wednesday, and of course one winner was announced!
More than 50 bachelor students attended the online final of the Digital Student Company project. The eight finalists gave a strong pitch to the jury, which consisted of entrepreneurs Lieke Voort, Neeltje Schilders and Steffen Ringma. What ideas did the entrepreneurial students have?
Winner: screening websites with Review You
The business plan of the Review You team (of students Andrej Djuretic, Roselin Smits, Yara Berkman, Thijs Oostrijck and Mees Casper Reder) focuses on screening companies' websites. They win the final with this well thought-out plan!
Second prize: coasters from Artix Studio
The students from Tio Hengelo, Jorrit Honig, Nick Wensink, Celine Swinkels, Justus Lurvink and Simon Huls want to focus on marketing coasters made of epoxy (a kind of hard resin) with their company Artix Studio. The customer is central here: he can choose the color and materials. A good idea that gives the students a nice second place.
Third prize: connecting charities to people via Sharity
Team Sharity, consisting of Benjamin Bouman, Julian Knoop and Max Broekhuizen, presented a concept in which people or companies who want to donate to charities are brought into contact with those causes. A nice gesture, and well worth the third place!
The jury praised the quality of the various business plans and digital presentations that were presented in the final. Congratulations to all winners!
