We are proud to announce that Tio is in the top of Dutch education, for 7 years in a row now. The results of the National Student Survey (NSS) are in and on average Tio has a wonderful score of 4 on a scale of 5. The same high score as last year. All bachelor programmes are once more in the top 3 of the highest scores within their fields of study. Tio’s tourism and marketing programme received the highest scores in comparison with comparable studies in the Netherlands. Tio students are particularly satisfied with the quality assurance, group size, accommodation, atmosphere and preparation for the professional career. Eight out of ten students are very satisfied with Tio and its bachelor programmes.
Tio improves continuously
Tio is constantly working on better education and better facilities. Together with the students, who give their opinion through, among other things, the Education Committee. For example, this academic year the maximum class size is reduced from 18 to 16 students, more space has been created for self-study and a new cooking studio has just opened in Amsterdam.. In addition, improvements were made in the communication with the student during the internship and work is being done on the spreading of the study load.
