Entrepreneurship in practice

There are many similarities between the hotel and event industry and life as an entrepreneur. No two days are the same, you learn to work hard, and success often depends on how satisfied your guests are. You will look at entrepreneurship in combination with the broader Hotel and Event Management programme and learn what it takes to become and remain successful. As an ambitious future entrepreneur, you will have the opportunity to pitch your own plans and ideas during project finals. If you play your cards right, you can even start your own business while you’re still studying! If you already have your own business, we will make sure that you can continue to run it comfortably alongside your studies.

Your career perspectives
This Hotel and Event Management bachelor’s degree has been accredited by the NVAO and educates students in three or four years for the professional competence level in Hotel Management (ISAT-code: 34118). This degree allows students to use the internationally recognised title of Bachelor of Arts (BA). The Associate degree in Hotel & Event Management (ISAT-code 80172) can be obtained in two years.
After obtaining your diploma, you can also register in the National Register of Social Hygiene, as the Hotel and Event Management programme is a recognised programme in this register.
