From the start of the new academic year, we will be using an app to access the campuses. Super easy, because you always have your mobile phone with you!

To be able to access the campus with this app, we need to link it to your mobile number. If you haven’t provided this information yet, please use the form below to let us know which mobile number you would like to use for access. You will also have received an email about this at your private email address. Student PC’s

Every Tio location has free to use Student PC’s in the lobby / canteen. At Tio Amsterdam you will also find student PC’s at the second floor. You can use these PC’s for quickly checking your email or news websites. All Tio locations are equipped with a full range WI-FI network. Please request the login code on your arrival.

Study Room

Need to study in total silence? Every Tio location has its own library / study room. Just as in the other classrooms, no food or drinks are allowed here, with the exception of bottled water. In case you need a room to work on a practical assignment with a group of students, please consult the concierge for the availability of an empty classroom.

Lockers

All Tio location provide lockers to store books, bags or your personal belongings. You can register for a locker at the reception desk of the concierge. The lockers are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. You can register/book a locker at the reception desk during the first week of lessons, during the lunch break.

Practical classrooms

Tio has some very special practical class rooms. Don’t be surprised if you all of a sudden end up in a hotel lobby, restaurant, airport check in desk, Travel Agency or Board room. These class  rooms are used for practical subjects such as aviation services, commercial skills and restaurant related professional skills.

Library membership

Tio gives all bachelor (hbo) and exchange students a free annual membership of the Royal Library in The Hague or of a university library in your area.

Besides that, you can access the online database with articles about tourism and hospitality and business from EBSCO Publishing via Blackboard. Tio’s own libraries are fairly small and consist of a small arrange of books. These books need to remain in the library and therefore you can only consult them and not take them from room.

Student Society Cognatio and Nexus

Tio has its own enthusiastic and active student societies: Cognatio and Nexus. They organise many activities for its members, such as get-togethers for drinks or parties.
