Not every student starts an MBA from the same background. If your academic or professional experience is in a different field, or if you need to strengthen your knowledge of business and research, you begin with the pre-master’s programme. This compact and intensive programme brings you quickly up to the level required for the MBA.
Study programme
In just 11 weeks of full-time study, you build a solid foundation. The pace is fast and the structure is focused. You move between different business areas with ease and develop the skills you will need throughout your MBA journey.

If you have not used any student finance for higher education, you are unfortunately not entitled to student finance for your full-time MBA. If, after the Pre-Master’s programme, you enrol on the part-time programme, you may be eligible for the lifelong learning credit.
Entry to the MBA
You complete this pre-master’s programme with clear assessment criteria. You show that you have mastered the content and developed the skills required at master’s level. Upon completion of the pre-master’s programme, you will receive a certificate stating: ‘Pre-master’s programme completed’. After this, you are ready to progress into the MBA and continue developing your specialisation.
