Thanks to Tio's small-scale setup, there is a lot of room for personal attention and guidance, but always based on freedom and (own) responsibility. Moreover, you get your own study coach who assists you during your personal learning journey.
Small campuses and small classes
Tio has six small-scale campuses in the Netherlands. On average, there are 10 students in a class, creating a close bond between both students and lecturers. Thanks to the small classes, there is more attention for you as an individual.

The rich history of Tio

Tio was founded in 1969 and has now been in existence for over 55 years. What started as a small tourism college in Hengelo, in the east of the Netherlands, has grown into a leading business school. Following several acquisitions in the 1990s and a broadening of its programme portfolio, Tio has developed into a nationwide organisation with six campuses.
