Below, you will find an overview of the admission requirements for the Master of Business Administration programme, with which you can determine whether you can start this master programme.
Admission requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 0-3 years of work experience.
- English Proficiency: CEFR: ≥ C1 | TOEFL: iBT ≥ 90 points (Institutional TOEFL code Tio: 4764) | TOEFL papier ≥ 575 points | TOEIC: Listening & Reading 720 + Speaking & Writing 310 | IELTS academic: ≥ 6.5 | Cambridge exam: Advanced (CAE) - Grade C (scale 180- 184) / First (FCE) - Grade A (scale 180 - 184) / First (FCE) - Grade B (scale 176-179).
- Knowledge of finance and marketing: This prior knowledge is necessary in order to be able to make a deeper understanding of these fields within the master. After registration, Tio checks whether you have sufficient knowledge. This depends on your previous education. If knowledge is lacking, an extra module can be followed before the start of the master programme.

Admission process
After we receive your registration, Tio will send you a written confirmation of your admission (provided that you meet the pre-education requirements and there is no waiting list). If your pre-education is insufficient for the programme you wish to take, we will schedule an assessment. The assessment costs € 80. The admissions committee will decide whether you can be admitted into the programme.
Register on time
Tio’s programmes are popular and the number of available positions is limited. Every year, this leads to waiting lists. If you are sure about your choice, you should enrol as soon as possible. Positions are assigned in the order in which students register .
Selection and draw
Tio’s selection process is based on whether students meet their prior education requirements and timely registration. Tio does not select students by lots.
Introductory interview
You will be invited to an introductory interview with your study coach before the start of your education at Tio.
Enrolment
You can enrol in September (5 September 2022) in this MBA.
Tio’s various Tio programmes are popular and the number of available positions is limited. Every year, this leads to waiting lists. If you are sure about your choice, be sure to apply as soon as possible. Positions are assigned in the order in which students apply.
Do you need a visa?
The application deadline for the academic year starting in September for students needing a visa is the 1st of July.
Kick-off academic year
You start your MBA with unique introduction days on 30 and 31 of August. During these introductory days, you will get to know your fellow students better, you will learn more about the structure of the study programme and you will get to work on a challenging case that will be shared by an inspiring guest speaker.
