Tio University Amsterdam

Amsterdam (English and Dutch courses)

Amsterdam is a lively and metropolitan student city. This is where ít happens. Enjoy a sunny terrace on the Rembrandt Square and meet some interesting people. Stroll over the Leidseplein and ride your roller blades in the Vondelpark. Studying in swinging Amsterdam is cool.

The Tio location in Amsterdam is situated less than three minutes away from the Sloterdijk railway station.and is centrally located. By train, bus or tram you will be in the city centre in no time and there are good connections to Alkmaar, Hoorn, Haarlem and Hoofddorp. The building itself is completely new and decorated in a modern and contemporary style, which will stimulate students to work hard on their studies. Furthermore, practice is everywhere in Amsterdam. After all, hundreds of thousands of visitors take visit the capital each year, making it the Netherlands’ most visited tourist city. Our national airport is a short distance from Tio. There you can find large (international) hotels ranging from the simple to luxurious 5-star hotels. Not only for tourists, but also for business travellers who come to Amsterdam for meetings, congresses and trade fairs. Where better to research how hospitality and tourism work than in Amsterdam?

After some hard work it’s time to relax and go out. For this too Amsterdam is the place to be. The most famous museums in the country are located here, including the Rijksmuseum, the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum. Well-known musicians perform in cultural hotspots such as Paradiso. You can shop till you drop in Amsterdam and the most attractive cafés and exclusive restaurants can be found here. Amsterdam can be compared with metropolitan cities such as London, Paris and Barcelona, but has maintained its cosy, very Dutch character that you will not find anywhere else, with its pleasant atmosphere of canals and bars.
